The Love Dare

Let me first start by saying we had a wonderful trip back to Kansas and enjoyed seeing lots of friends and family while we were home. It definitely makes me miss everyone even more than usual!!

So, Jeremy and I decided once we got home we would start reading a book his dad and stepmom gave us as a wedding gift. Well, more like I do the reading, he does the listening...but we are reading it together none the less. the book, called The Love Dare, is a 40 day challenge to help strengthen the marriage. I know we haven't been married long and just started the book a couple days ago, but so far so good. Each day the book gives you advice and a "lesson" if you will, followed by a love dare we will complete the following day. The first two days have been about patience and kindness. It's kind of exciting and we are trying really hard to meet each challenge, although some are easier than others.

I am encouraging other married couple to read the book along with us then maybe we can have little blogs along the way about different ideas and dares.

All is well here in the South! We have been traveling a lot as most of you know. This weekend we HAVE to go the the beach for WORK. It's a rough life, but someone has to do it. :-)
