There's No Place Like Home

Sorry for the reference to The Wizard of Oz, but I just couldn't help myself. We managed to survive our short, but busy trip back to Kansas last week. It seems like we never have enough time to see everyone or do everything we would like, but those are the breaks I suppose. We got to town Wednesday and I headed for Girard and Jeremy went to Pittsburg to stay with his brother and nephew. It was good to see my parents and get to hang out with Bonnie, Lisa, and Randy. Thursday i got to get my haircut. (God love Carla...don't take your hair stylist for granted, you'll miss them if you ever move away!!) I also made the rounds at Greenbush to see Julie and the girls in the Science Center. Then, we headed out for the next part of our trip. Friday I came back to Girard to see Kaylee and Lauryn. I didn't get to stay long but I had lots of fun playing with Kaylee and watching Lauryn crawl around. I can't believe how fast they are growing up! We spent some time with Jeremy's dad before heading off to a cookout. Jeremy's mom wedding, Saturday morning, went great. They had a small heading outside with the families and the weather turned out really nice. Then, we all went to lunch. It was nice to get to know Harry and his family. We spent the rest of the day hanging out at Cathy's with Jeremy's cousins, Brooke and Blair. We had a great trip and are looking forward to our next chance to head back to Kansas.
