Life in a Nutshell

Our life seems like it has been filled with craziness this month. Jeremy has been working a lot lately to try to get a new system up and running at his warehouse. I've been trying to go out and work with him after I finish teaching at school.

We headed back to Kansas over the weekend when we found out his Grandma Bonnie had passed away. We were so thankful we had been home just a couple weeks ago and were able to visit with her. I have seen her the few times we have been to Kansas since I moved out here, and she was such a wonderful lady. We scrambled out of the house to catch an early flight out and spent a few days in Burlington with his family. It was great to meet a lot of his mom's side that I had never met before. They seem like a great bunch of people, and I hope to get to know them even better over the next 50+ years. :-)

Jeremy won tickets last night on the radio for the qualifying, truck series, and Sprint Cup race at Atlanta Motor Speedway for next weekend. We are so excited!! We live in Nascar county here in the south, but we have never been to a race. I have my Carl Edwards t-shirt and I am ready to go!!

Well that's life in a nutshell! 'til next time...
