Back in the South...

where there is no snow!! I had a great trip back to Kansas over Thanksgiving. I always enjoy going home to see my friends and family I miss so much. Everyone came out to my parents for Thanksgiving day, and I got to see some family I hadn't seen in a couple years so it was nice to catch up. Friday, Mom, Amy, and I headed to Walmart at 4:30am to begin our day of shopping. Good times!! Saturday the girls hosted my bridal shower and had a bachelorette party for me since that is the last time I will be in Kansas before the wedding (which is 4 months from today!!!) It was great to see everyone together and get a chance to spend some good, quality time with them. It was a wonderful day planned by some very wonderful friends! All in all it was a great trip until it was time to leave. It snowed on Sunday as we headed for the airport. My flight was delayed in Kansas City for a couple hours, so that's always fun. Jeremy and Dupree (Jared) picked me up at the airport, and it is great to be home, out of that yucky weather! Here is a pic of the cake me mom made. Isn't it great?!?
